Chris Koddermann

As a passionate consumer of books, I am constantly on the hunt for a good story.  Stories are the thing that give shape to our lives.  The stories of where we come from. Those in which we play a role. The ones that inspire, teach, thrill, and fascinate us. And of course, those we tell ourselves and others.

The story of psychedelics is one that captured my attention at an early age and has played an increasing central role in my own over the last several years.  Having spent over two decades working as a communications and public affairs professional, first in politics and then in senior corporate roles, I now have the great fortune of leveraging my wealth of experience to support our clients as they help write the next chapter in the story of psychedelics.  But my interest in not merely a professional one.  As co-founder and chair of the board of the International Therapeutic Psilocybin Rescheduling Initiative, an international coalition pursuing a rescheduling of psilocybin under the 1971 Convention on Psychotropic Substances, I am deeply passionate about the enterprise of advancing the development of psychedelic medicines as treatment options for patients in need.

CURA Communications was founded on the belief that it takes a team of people who understand the story of psychedelics in order to serve the companies, non-profits and other organizations that are central to determining their future course.  Please drop me a line if you’d like to learn more about how we can help tell your story.
